Russia and Ukraine have reached a new consensus to exchange prisoners once again. This agreement emerged from the second round of discussions between the two nations' delegations held within the last two weeks in Istanbul, Turkey.
How will the new exchange unfold?
This marks the second exchange in a fortnight. The agreement follows a recent swap, where each side released 1,000 captives, which was decided during their initial meeting in the Turkish city.
Meanwhile, the European Union and the United States have convened to explore ways to better coordinate the imposition of sanctions on Russia.
