Youth Building the Future 2025: Registration, Payment, and Key Details on the Employment Program
The Youth Building the Future initiative commenced its registration on Monday, June 2, aiming to provide job training to individuals aged 18 to 29 who are neither in school nor employed. This program is a flagship effort within the Welfare Programs, aimed at easing job market entry through a 12-month training period.
During this training, participants benefit from a monthly financial stipend, medical insurance from IMSS, and a certificate validating the skills acquired upon program completion.
Here's a breakdown of what you need to know about this job training program and the steps to apply to one of the participating workplaces.
Accepted candidates in the Youth Building the Future program receive:
According to the program's guidelines, enrolled individuals must adhere to the set days and hours by their workplace, which include workdays of 5 to 8 hours each day, five days a week.
If unsatisfied with their job choice, participants can switch once during their program enrollment. At the end of the training year, employers may hire the trainee based on their job performance. All participants receive a certificate of participation.

Starting June 2, 2025, applicants can explore available opportunities in their area or municipality and apply to their desired workplace.
The only requirements to join the program are being between the ages of 18 and 29 and not being in school or employed. To apply for the support, follow these steps:
If not selected, the Youth Building the Future program will offer additional application periods in August, October, and December of 2025.
