Dabiz Muñoz Invests 14 Million Euros in New DiverXO Venture

Dabiz Muñoz, the culinary maestro celebrated for his innovative approach, has marked 2025 as the year to unveil the new DiverXO. Nestled within the prestigious La Finca community in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid, this establishment is poised to redefine global dining excellence with an estimated investment between 12 and 14 million euros.

At the Madrid Fusión gastronomic congress, Muñoz, who has thrice been recognized as the world's best chef by The Best Chef Awards, shared insights into this ambitious project. He is collaborating with La Finca, owned by the García Cereceda family, to bring this dream to life. The partnership involves La Finca managing the infrastructure and construction, while Muñoz's company, UniverXO, oversees interior design and restaurant operations.

Discussing financial aspects, Muñoz highlighted the critical role of his partners, who are contributing significantly to the funding. He praised his financial team’s efforts and revealed they have secured a bank loan to support the endeavor. The success of UniverXO's various ventures, including StreetXO, RavioXO, and GoXO, underpins their financial strategy.

Muñoz candidly admitted to reinvesting all earnings into the business, relying on a skilled back-office team to manage finances. His wife, Cristina Pedroche, has been instrumental in professionalizing the company by recruiting experts in operations, production, and marketing. Muñoz emphasized the importance of transforming restaurant management beyond the culinary space.

Besides relocating DiverXO for the fourth time from NH Eurobuilding to La Finca, Muñoz is preparing to launch a new StreetXO in Dubai, mirroring the Madrid experience but without pork derivatives in the menu. This venture marks another international foray after a previous attempt in London ended in 2020 due to the pandemic. Additionally, Muñoz is exploring retail opportunities in Spain to further diversify his brand.

Driven by boundless ambition at 44, Muñoz continues to break barriers with his insatiable hunger for success. His relentless pursuit of excellence is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the culinary arts.
