The much-anticipated Fiesta del Cine returns for another exciting edition in early June. From June 2nd to 5th, movie lovers can enjoy films across Spain's theaters at the irresistible price of €3.50.

According to the Spanish Cinema Federation (FECE), over 300 cinemas are on board for this year's Fiesta del Cine. This initiative aims to express the film industry's gratitude to its loyal audience, while promoting cinema-going as a vital cultural and social activity.

The latest edition features a promotional 'spot' created by the renowned Catalan School of Cinema and Audiovisuals. The creators shared, "We wanted to highlight the crucial role of producers in the entire value chain of audiovisual projects and to champion future cinematic exhibitions."

Since its inception in 2009, the Fiesta del Cine has attracted over 32 million attendees across 23 editions. As reported by Méndez-Leite, the top-viewed films are Spain's very own: 'Ocho apellidos vascos' in 2014 and 'Un monstruo viene a verme' in 2016.
