The Madrid Book Fair faces yet another issue on its second day due to soaring temperatures. On Saturday, the fair's organizers announced that they must delay the event's opening by one hour this afternoon. This decision follows a weather forecast predicting severe heat between 3 PM and 6 PM, adhering to established safety protocols. Consequently, the public opening will now commence at 6 PM.

Additionally, the fair's organizing committee stated that all book signings scheduled between 5 PM and 6 PM have been canceled. They will reschedule the remaining signings to align with the new opening time. Events originally set to start at 5 PM will also be postponed.
