National Lottery: Celebrating Scientific Advancement on May 31st

May 31, 2025, 07:10

The upcoming National Lottery draw on Saturday, May 31st, marks a special occasion as it commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Spanish Society for Scientific Documentation and Information. This event is steeped in history, tracing its roots back to the 19th century, and remains one of the most beloved games in Spain.

The structure of the National Lottery offers significant rewards, with the top prize reaching 600,000 euros per series and 60,000 euros per ticket, complemented by various secondary prizes. As part of the State Lotteries and Gambling entity (SELAE), the lottery aims to provide a safe and responsible gaming experience.

To participate, one must purchase a "décimo," the smallest fraction of a lottery ticket. Each décimo has a unique number, which must match the winning number for the chance to claim a prize. The rewards are categorized into primary and secondary prizes, with the amount won depending on the correct numbers drawn.

Regular draws are held every Thursday at 21:00 and Saturday at 13:00. Enthusiasts can follow the proceedings live via the official State Lotteries and Gambling website. However, it is important to note that the only official and valid prize list is provided by this entity.
