A woman, identifying herself as a former romantic partner, has filed a lawsuit against Zion Williamson, accusing him of rape and sexual abuse, among other serious allegations. The victim, referred to as Jane Doe in legal documents, submitted a civil lawsuit in a Los Angeles court, detailing the alleged abuse over three of the five years of their relationship. Williamson's attorney has categorically denied the accusations, labeling them as "completely false and irresponsible." The Pelicans, who finished 14th in their conference this season, have yet to comment on the matter.

Jane Doe claims she was involved with the basketball star since 2018, back when he played at Duke University and aimed for the NBA draft. According to the lawsuit, the abusive behavior started in 2020, occurring in various locations across California, Louisiana, and Texas.
