Aitana: A Bold Stand Against Profit in Fan Engagement
Madrid's Movistar Arena recently became the epicenter for a unique event, as fans of Aitana gathered to experience her upcoming album, Cuarto Azul, before its official release on May 30th. This exclusive listening party, held three days prior to the album launch, invited fans to be the first to hear the new tracks, with entry priced at 16 euros. Despite some criticism regarding the ticket cost, Aitana has clarified that she does not profit from these sales.
In a candid discussion on ‘Cara C’, from los40, Aitana expressed her desire to keep the event free from corporate sponsorship. She noted, "I didn't want it to be sponsored by brands, although I work with many, because it limits you. While some prominent artists have managed free events with brand sponsorships, we chose a different path." Her commitment to maintaining artistic freedom and authenticity underscores her approach to fan engagement, prioritizing genuine connection over commercial gain.
